Reset Day

Come join a small, intimate group of likeminded women for a day filled with exercise, immersion in nature, nourishing food, comfortable discussion and limited life distractions.

I can guarantee an atmosphere of warmth and inclusion and you will be given gentle encouragement throughout the day, as we bond together over our shared experiences.

After a number of years working on retreats, I am a firm believer in the power of connection and have seen firsthand how impactful it can be to offer even a brief respite away from life and its demands.

 
  • Our Reset Day is all about taking a step back from the daily grind to focus on your well-being. In our day-to-day lives it can be so easy to lose sight of the habits that help to keep us healthy and grounded. We will aim to reset our routines by engaging in activities that nurture us in both body and mind

  • Healthy sustainable habits are the cornerstone of a balanced life. They can improve focus, increase productivity, and vitally, help to reduce stress. Throughout the day, we will explore how small, consistent and scalable actions can make a big difference in your overall well-being.

  • We will start our day together by lacing up our hiking boots and taking a hike in the nearby hills. Walking in nature not only improves our physical health by reducing blood pressure, heart rate and cortisol, but it has also been proven to alleviate stress, to promote feelings of calm and balance and to boost creativity. 

    As we take the time to disconnect from all the distractions in our lives, we will reconnect with our surroundings and more importantly with one another.  Nature can be a powerful tool for inspiration and can also create a real sense of community.  This is something which I have found vital as a solopreneur and business owner.  The opportunity to brainstorm and share ideas on these walks has been so important.

    Some of the Benefits of Hiking:

    • Boosts cardiovascular health

    • Enhances mood and mental clarity

    • Encourages mindfulness and present-moment awareness

  • After the hike, we will gather for a nutritious homecooked lunch. Our meal will focus on fresh, whole foods that provide the energy and nutrients needed for optimal health. Eating mindfully and choosing nutritious options not only nourishes the body but can also support us with our mental clarity and focus.

    Sample Menu:

    • Seasonal soups or salads with a variety of greens and vegetables

    • Whole grain breads and fruit soda

    • Fresh fruit and granola bites

  • Habit stacking is a powerful strategy for building new habits by attaching them to existing routines. Over lunch, we will discuss how to incorporate healthy habits into your daily life without creating overwhelm. By stacking new habits onto established ones, you can create a sustainable routine that will support your well-being.

  • Practicing gratitude has been shown to increase happiness, reduce stress, and to improve overall well-being. We will explore different ways to integrate gratitude into your daily life, such as journaling, affirmations, or simply taking a moment to appreciate the little things that we often take for granted.

  • At the conclusion of the Reset Day, we will discuss how the activities we have undertaken are just the beginning and that you now have the opportunity to incorporate what you have learned, into your daily routine, to maintain a more balanced and healthy lifestyle. This Reset Day will stand as a reminder that self-care is not to be viewed as a luxury but instead as a necessity for long-term success and happiness.

  • 10am – Meet & Greet Session including discussion on morning routines and the key benefits to developing a regular, sustainable exercise routine.

    This may include a studio based introduction to strength & conditioning.

    11am – Hike in Rathmichael Woods & Carrickgollogan – healthy snacks will be provided

    1pm – Homemade Lunch followed by group session on mindset, habit stacking and ways we can effect change with a realistic and balanced approach.

    3pm – Come away feeling recharged and armed with additional skills to add to your life toolkit.

 

The Reset Day will take place at my home studio in Rathmichael, Dublin 18.
